Week 2 is from 19/06/2023 to 23/06/2023.

19/06/2023 (Monday)

• Today there was a general assembly in the school.
  National reading day was celebrated in the school.

• I took TINY PARTICLES IN MATTER AND ARRANGEMENT OF PARTICLES in IX D.

• I participated in noon meal programme. 

20/06/2023 (Tuesday)

 We conducted a readers day quiz for high school students. 

• I don't had any class. 

• I along with other student teachers volunteered in conducting the readers day quiz.

21/06/2023 (Wednesday)

• I took DIFFERENT STATES OF MATTER AND THEIR STATES in VIII B

• Today was international yoga day and world music day.
  There was yoga practice under the guidance of NCC, Scout and guides.

• As today was yoga day, I talked about the benefits of yoga in class VIII B.

• I took THE PRINCIPLE OF FLOATATION in IX D

22/06/2023 (Thursday)

• I taught the topic DIFFUSION OF SUBSTANCE IN DIFFERENT STATES in VIII B.

• I got the consent to collect data from the secondary teachers of the school for my project.

23/06/2023 (Friday)

• I took RELATIVE DENSITY in IX D.

• The videos shown in the ICT enhanced my teaching,
  So I planned to include more video classes in coming sessions.

Our teaching practice phase 2 began on 14th June 2023. I along with other 8 teacher students chose Govt. HSS Puthoor. I got IX D and VIII B.

16/06/2023 (Friday)

 

• I taught the topic THE FACTORS AFFECTING BUOYANCY in IX D.

• Students were very interested to watch the experiments with water.

• My project is about the efficacy of mastery learning model in teaching physics among secondary school students. 

• I prepared the tool in the free time

15/06/2023 (Thursday)

 

• I took the topic STATES OF MATTER in class VIII B.

• I demonstrated experiments using potassium permanganate and sugar in the class. The students were very excited and curious. 

• Students gave me feedback regarding activities. They were really curious about doing activities. So i decide to make classes more activity oriented as far as possible.

• I took a substitution period in IX D.

• There was an awareness programme related to World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.

• Students took an oath to prevent atrocities against the elderly. 

14/06/2023 [ WEDNESDAY ]

         

• I took the topic States of Matter in class VIII B.

• I used videos and activity cards. Students were very interested in learning new chapter with their new teacher.

• My peer teacher observed my class and suggested valuable feedback for improving my class.
