Teaching Practice Phase 2 - Week 9

Teaching Practice Phase 2 - Week 9

"The beautiful thing about learning is no one can take it away from you."

The final week of my teaching practice internship

From August 7th to August 8th, 2023, marked a poignant culmination of a meaningful journey. During this brief yet significant period, I revisited key topics, reinforcing fundamental concepts for my students. We delved into the derivation of first equation of motion by graphical method, second and third equations of motion, balanced and unbalanced forces and its effects. Additionally, we tackled the subject of the Newton's first law of motion, inertia of rest, inertia of motion, momentum and Newton's second and third law of motion. In the realm of physics, we applied mathematical concepts to solve real-world problems, specifically focusing on equations of motion. These lessons provided a solid foundation and consolidated the knowledge gained over the course of the internship.

Reflecting on my teaching practices and strategies, I realized how far I had come in creating an engaging and effective learning environment. Throughout the internship, I had incorporated interactive teaching methods, embraced multimodal instruction, emphasized real-world applications, and regularly assessed student progress. These strategies not only made learning enjoyable for my students but also facilitated their understanding of complex concepts.

In a touching conclusion to my internship, the school organized a meeting to express their gratitude to me and my fellow interns for our dedicated services. It was a heartwarming moment when we, in turn, conveyed our appreciation for the enriching experiences and knowledge we had gained during our time at the school. As a token of our gratitude and to contribute to the school's future, we donated essential stationary materials, including marker pens, chalks, and books. This act of giving back symbolized the strong bond we had formed with the school community.

In summary, the final week of my teaching practice internship was a time of reflection, gratitude, and giving back. It marked the end of a fulfilling journey where I had the privilege to teach, learn, and be a part of a wonderful school community. As I step away from this chapter, I carry with me valuable experiences and memories that will shape my future endeavors in education. Thank you for joining me on this remarkable journey, and stay tuned for more adventures ahead.

Teaching Practice Phase 2 - Week 8

                  Teaching Practice Phase 2 - Week 8

"Education is the art of making man ethical"

The week spanning from July 31st, 2023, to August 5th, 2023

It was another significant chapter in my ongoing teaching practice internship. This week introduced a fresh set of scientific topics, offering new challenges and opportunities for both my students and me.

Throughout this week, my students and I explored a diverse array of scientific subjects. These topics included " Inertia of rest", "inertia of motion", "momentum" and "Newtons second law of motion". Amidst the exploration of these topics, I remained committed to refining my teaching practices and strategies. My approach continued to prioritize engagement and adaptability, utilizing interactive learning methods, multimodal instruction, real-life applications of scientific concepts, and regular assessments to foster a dynamic and effective learning environment.

One notable event during the week was the achievement test I conducted for the eighth-grade class, VIII B, focusing on the topic of "Properties of Matter." This assessment served as a valuable tool to gauge student comprehension, identify areas needing improvement, and tailor future lessons to meet the specific learning needs of the class.

Beyond the classroom, the school community was active and engaged in various initiatives. I had the opportunity to contribute by assisting in the preparation and distribution of the noon meal, furthering the school's commitment to community involvement. Additionally, I collected responses from fellow teachers for an ongoing project, fostering collaboration and teamwork among the school's educators.

In summary, the week of July 31st to August 5th, 2023, was marked by continued academic exploration, the refinement of teaching approaches, and active participation in school community initiatives. These experiences enriched both my teaching journey and the overall education of the students. As I look ahead to the forthcoming week of my internship, I am eager to build upon these experiences and continue making a positive impact on my students' growth and development. Stay tuned for more updates in the upcoming weekend!
