CASSIOPEIA 2022:
National Science Day Celebration

The national science day was celebrated on  28th February 2022 at college general hall. The program was hosted by physical science and natural science optional students. The chief guest was Mr. Ashish T George, an alumni of the college. The principal gave a brief explanation about science and the theme 'integrated approach of science and technology for a sustainable future'. The speaker gave a brief description about Raman effect and Raman scattering through real life examples. After the formal section, there was an interdepartmental tableau competition on the theme "EARTH 2035".There were also games to catch the attention of the audience.

 STRESS MANAGEMENT FOR
SUCCESSFUL LIFE

Mount Tabor Training college women cell conducted a webinar on the topic " stress management for successful life". Dr. Geetha Jacob was the resource person . She was a clinical psychologist. The webinar was conducted on 26th February via Google meet. The topic was really interesting and is helpful for our day to day life. Doctor gave many suggestions to reduce stress and remain calm.

 CULTURAL EVENTS - WOMEN'S CELL

"WOMEN ARE THE LARGEST UNTAPPED RESERVOIR OF TALENT IN THE WORLD."

Mount Tabor Training college in connection with women cell conducted cultural programmes on 24th February 2022. The major events are mime from commerce optional students , theme dance from mathematics optional and theme show by English optional. All cultural events provided a great pleasure to everyone present in the hall.

 അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മാതൃഭാഷാ ദിനം

"ബഹുഭാഷാ പഠനത്തിനായി സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ ഉപയോഗിക്കാം: വെല്ലുവിളികളും അവസരങ്ങളും" എന്നതാണ്, ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മാതൃഭാഷാ ദിനത്തിന്റെ പ്രമേയം.ഭാഷകള്‍ക്കും ബഹുഭാഷകള്‍ക്കും ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള അംഗീകാരത്തിനും സുസ്ഥിര വികസന ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളിലും ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചാണ് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മാതൃഭാഷാ ദിനം  (International Mother Language Day ) ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്. മാതൃഭാഷാ ദിനാചരണം  'ഞാൻ മലയാളി' എന്ന പേരിൽ ഫെബ്രുവരി 21 ന് 11 മണിക്ക് ജനറൽ ഹാളിൽ വച്ച് നടത്തപ്പെട്ടു. കൂടാതെ അടിക്കുറിപ്പ് മത്സരം, ജോസഫേ....കുട്ടിക്ക് മലയാളം അറിയാം, വായനാമത്സരം എന്നിവ നടത്തപ്പെട്ടു.

 WOMEN CELL WEBINAR

Women cell conducted a webinar on the topic " wellness training programme on role of nutrition for a healthy woman" on 19th February 2022. The webinar was via online at 4pm. The resource person was Dr. Leena Shaju , who was a clinical Nutrition and dietitian at KIMS hospital, Trivandrum. The topic was interesting and participants were more active. They aroused their doubts and the doctor give clear instructions to the students regarding diet and deficiency diseases.

 INSPIRE- NATIONAL PERIODIC TABLE DAY CELEBRATION 2K22

In connection with national periodic table day celebration, physical science optional students conducted an inter school online competition for high school students on 7th February 2022. There was a memory test where the students have to by heart maximum number of elements and had to reproduce it. Another competition was named as "sketch your element". It provides the students a creative freedom to personify an element in the periodic table into a superhero or villain. The next was a story writing competition. The students can write a story related to the history of elements in their own words.

 Energising state through
Empowering Women

Women cell organised a webinar in association with kerala state women development Corporation on the topic " Energising state through empowering women" on 7th February 2022.  Joyce Mary Antony was the resource person who was a motivational speaker. The webinar discussed about the life skills and the Role of a women in the present society. The majority of the participants in the webinar being women, it was a great motivational programme.
