Teaching Practice Phase 2 - Week 7

               Teaching Practice Phase 2 - Week 7

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

Week is from July 24th, 2023, to July 29th, 2023

My teaching practice internship journey continued, introducing a fresh array of topics to engage and inspire my students. This week's curriculum comprised a diverse range of subjects, aiming to challenge and deepen their understanding of science and chemistry. The topics covered included "solving problems using equation of motion" where we were able to relate the equations of motions with different problems and come to a conclusion. Next we delved with the topic " Balanced and unbalanced forces" investigating the different nature of forces. Moving on we delved into the " effects of the Unbalanced External Forces". Finally we explored the distinctions between "Newton's first law of motion", "inertia of rest" and "inertia of motion". These topics provided a rich tapestry of scientific knowledge for my students to explore.

Throughout the week, my commitment to refining teaching practices and strategies remained unwavering. I continued to adapt my methods to create an engaging and effective learning environment. Interactive demonstrations played a pivotal role in simplifying complex concepts, making them more tangible and relatable. Varied learning activities, including group discussions, hands-on experiments, and visual aids, catered to the diverse learning styles within the classroom. Emphasizing the real-world relevance of scientific principles helped students see the practical applications of what they were learning, fostering a deeper connection to the subject matter. Regular assessments allowed me to gauge student understanding and provide timely feedback for improvement, ensuring that the learning process remained dynamic and responsive to their needs.

Within the school community, two significant events added vibrancy to the week. First, the launch of the school radio station, "Hello GHSS Puthoor," provided an exciting platform for students to explore their creative and communication skills. It not only encouraged self-expression but also promoted teamwork and collaboration as students worked together to bring their broadcasts to life. Second, the week culminated in a special assembly that brought together the entire school community. This assembly likely featured student performances, inspiring speeches, and possibly even recognition of outstanding achievements, reinforcing the sense of unity and purpose within the school.

In summary, the week of July 24th to July 29th, 2023, was a dynamic and enriching period in my teaching practice internship. The diverse topics taught, coupled with evolving teaching strategies, aimed to make the learning journey engaging and meaningful for my students. The school events, from the launch of the school radio to the special assembly, added a layer of creativity, communication, and community spirit to the educational atmosphere. As I eagerly anticipate the next week of my internship, I am excited to build upon this foundation and continue contributing positively to my students' educational growth. Stay tuned for more updates in the upcoming weekend!
